Orders are packaged with plastic-free materials, however, i may occasionally recycle packaging from other sources, in which case you might find some reused plastic bubble wrap and cardboard boxes.

Due to the nature of being handmade, each piece by Sophie is one-of-a-kind. If there is a listing with multiple items in stock, please be aware that they will be very similar but not identical.

All Zosia Ceramics are made from a sandy-coloured stoneware clay and usually finished in a transparent gloss glaze. The glaze has a light crackle in thicker places but is perfectly safe for use as dinnerware. Handwashing is always recommended for handmade ceramics but if you aren’t able to do so for any reason, it should be ok in a dishwasher as long as you avoid pottery clattering during the wash. Although the stoneware clay itself is very durable, there is risk of the glaze chipping if ill-packed.
